What advice do you have for running a successful bakery?
“Be original. These two words might seem like generic advice, but to succeed, you can’t be a copy of your competitors in the area. Be the best, the first, or the only one making the treats you make.
For example, Smallcakes is the only bakery in the area that:

- Changes flavors daily
- Donates all leftovers and bakes fresh from scratch every morning

How have you learned from past mistakes?
“No matter how long you’ve been in business, you will always make mistakes. Learning from them is the key to success. If you let your mistakes distract you and take you off track, that’s when you will be on the road to failure.”
What motivates you?
“The biggest motivation for us at Smallcakes Schererville is to see a customer happy with our finished product.”
